Finding the Perfect Wedding Dress

October 11, 2019 / Lifestyle, wedding

Wedding Dress shopping could possibly be my favorite thing in the world! When it came time to pick out my wedding dress, I had a pretty clear vision of the look I was going for.  Whimsical and romantic with a hint of blush! After spending countless hours on Pinterest it became clear that BHLD was the place for me. It was an organic fit for so many reasons.

1. I was on a short timeline…60 days or less to find a dress, order it and make alterations. BHLD can have a dress at your door within a 2 week timeframe! Amazing!

2. Prices you can’t beat! As anyone can tell you, weddings are not cheap! Ugh, bless it. You find ways to save where you can and for me spending thousands and thousands of dollars for my dress just wasn’t what I wanted to do. At BHLD, every dress is under 2.5K and you can find so many beautiful options under 1K!

3. On trend! They carry a wide range of styles, everything from traditional and classic to ethereal and bohemian. I ended up falling in love with this Willowby Watters Ricarda Gown from the second I put it on. I loved the floral detail which I incorporated throughout my entire wedding theme. It’s a semi-modest coverage, didn’t want the girls all out for show too much! Slimming waistline and the romantic feel with the tulle material. I did not want to be uncomfortable all night, worrying about pulling up a heavy strapless dress or trying to suck in my stomach. This dress was perfect! And if you really want to know I went barefoot most of the day and night. I really took the comfort to another level!

The special addition to my look was my custom pink flower veil! I’m actually so sad I didn’t make a point to get more images while I wore it walking down the aisle but it’s a special piece I will cherish forever especially because my very talented cousin made it for me! She’s beyond talented and I wanted to incorporate something different and unique, plus add in all the extra pink I could!

If you are in the market for a wedding dress or even a special occasion dress be sure to check out BHLD!

My mother’s dress is from Teri Jon!
