Our Serene Master Bedroom

April 24, 2023 / Home Decor

Our  master bedroom is best described as our serene sanctuary. I couldn’t imagine a more calming space to start and end our day, we couldn’t love it more! This room is still a work in progress, we are about to start our huge master bathroom renovation so until that is complete and all the dust and mess clears out we are waiting to add a few final touches to this space.  The room is very large which is wonderful but I think I want to add some wallpaper to the space to add texture and warm it up some. I’m thinking a soft neutral grasscloth but we will see what catches my eye.

I have loved partnering with a few of my favorite brands on this space, brands I have used throughout our home and ones I cannot recommend enough. First are our gorgeous drapery from Budget Blinds, these soft blue velvet drapes are the focal point of our room and add so much richness to the space. Paired with our drapes we included electric woven shades which is a total game changer to have the ability to use a remote to open and close them each day.

Our dresser and upholstered bench is from Cailini Coastal, my go-to stop for all things coastal interiors.  I love the gold hardware on this tall lake dresser, we are waiting on a gold mirror to add above but I’m kinda loving this Gray Malin art piece in its place for now.

Our rug is also from Calini Coastal and it’s the softest touch under your feet. We have the color oatmeal and the quality is amazing, it’s held up so well and surprisingly stays clean.

I’m excited to share how this space will continue to evolve this year, more to come!
