No Winter Blue’s here! My girlfriends and I packed our bags, arranged childcare, dog care and other responsibilities to all meet in sunny Fort. Lauderdale for a long weekend. We arrived at The Pelican Grand Beach Resort and from the moment we walked in the door, we felt at home. The Pelican Grand Beach Resort offers seaside elegance to a coastal-chic waterfront retreat. From watching stunning sunrises on private balconies, to indulging in culinary creations at OCEAN2000 Restaurant & Lounge, rejuvenating at PURE Spa and floating down Fort Lauderdale’s only lazy river, it is perfect for a romantic getaway, girls weekend or family vacation. It offers a great vacation for everyone!
The 12th floor Sky Suite penthouse was our stunning view during our stay! This private paradise, and true jewel of the beach, boasts the very best views and the largest outdoor space on the water in Fort Lauderdale with a 1,100 sq. ft. balcony, complete with a rooftop shower, sunning area, and so much more! Can we talk about these views! Wow!
Located on the 11th floor rooftop with breathtaking views of the sparkling Atlantic Ocean, the green and environmentally friendly PURE Spa offers the ideal rooftop retreat from an elite suite featuring three-indoor treatment rooms and two-outdoor spa cabanas. The nearly 3,000 sq. ft. spa also offers a relaxation room with hanging chairs, two oceanfront manicure/pedicure stations and locker rooms, in addition to an outdoor shower – not to mention oceanfront views. The girls and I enjoyed a relaxing afternoon here in this beautiful spa.
OCEAN2000 this signature waterfront restaurant offers a “seafood centric” menu of contemporary American cuisine. Listening to the ocean waves and enjoying a delicious meal was the perfect way to end our night at The Pelican Grand Beach Resort. Although I was only able to enjoy mocktails I made up for it with extra desert! Be sure to try the Key Lime Pie, my favorite!
If you are looking for a great spot in Fort Lauderdale I can’t recommend The Pelican Grand Beach Resort enough. I am excited to bring our soon to be family of three back next year for a family vacation!

This hotel looks amazing. Live in Ft. Lauderdale and will check it out for sure! Your style and pictures are amazing, so beautiful! Confused though all the pictures on the bottom are from Naples and Naples beach hotel though right?
