Last week I was honored to partner with Lowe’s and Habitat for Humanity for International’s (HFHI) International Women Build Day! Which is a day-long event created by the Women Build program and Lowe’s Stores. International Women Build Day spotlights homeownership challenges and achievements experienced by women. The event is international in scope and will encompass 18 markets: 16 in the United States, one in India and one in Montreal/Quebec Canada. Together, Lowe’s and Women Build bring together hundreds of women, future homeowners, and localHabitat for Humanity organizations to build homes. It was a rainy and cold day in Charlotte but that didn’t stop the hundred of lady bosses that showed up to make this day happen! We were able to frame a house for a local woman and her son. It was so inspiring to witness and help built this home for this special family. Despite the weather we they ladies in stylish pink hard hats worked together to completed this framing on this home!
Thank you to Lowe’s for sponsoring this day, what an honor it was to be apart of this event.
