Can you believe this is the same house?! When we purchased this home just over a year ago we fell in love with the lot. Situated at the end of a quite road on the golf course with three holes surrounded each side of the home. We knew it would be the perfect place to settle down and raise our family.
The home is an original 1950’s ranch with one previous owner, which we purchased from the daughter who was raised in this home. We knew it would be a complete renovation project but we were excited to make it ours over time. We saw the vision for this patio space but honestly, we didn’t think it would be this good.
Everything from adding four sets of French doors to making a last minute changes to our roof structure, it all came together beautifully. With this being our forever home I’m really trying to do one room/project at a time and really make it exactly the way we want it. I spend countless hours, oftentimes in the middle of the night (thanks to a new baby) designing this patio space. I was honored to partner with one of my favorite brands, Frontgate on this space. If you remember from Della’s nursery I used their shell statement mirror in her room.
Furniture quality was on the top of my list when searching for options for our space. We love to entertain our friends and family frequently so I knew quality was key. This Callan set compliments our Taylor Clay brick pavers perfectly, the white and grey tones blended nicely creating a beautiful light and airy feel. Blue and green tones are carried throughout out home so I wanted to keep with that same color scheme for the patio as well. I love the blue and white stripe pillows paired with the green floral, especially with the vibrant golf course colors as our backdrop. We went with the classic 60” round dining room table with a teak finish paired with the white Brighton side chairs.
We are so excited to experience all seasons in this space. From football games, family dinners, holidays to cool nights out by the fireplace. We are fortunate to call this space ours.
Thanks for following along our home renovation, we have a long list of other projects in the works! Next up, master bathroom and closet- who’s excited?!
We went with the Hunter Fan Company Outdoor Overton Fan in the 72”. It’s as beautiful as it is functional in our space.
The ceiling color is Sherwin Williams Tradewinds at 50%.
