Coastal Inspired Guest Room with Serena & Lily

April 2, 2019 / Home Decor

I’m so excited to share our new coastal inspired guest room with you! This was the first room in our new house that we have (almost) completed. We’ve actually have had three different groups of friends and family here already visiting so it’s nice to have this bright and inviting room for them to use.

I’m was honored to partner with one of my favorite interior brands, Serena & Lily on this space. They have the best options when it comes to coastal, clean and simple styles. I knew I wanted to keep this space as bright and white as possible but yet still add in pops of color in a minimalistic way. This duvet set has a more relaxed feel with the fringe detail on the hem, adding an abundance on tone on tone oversized white pillows to really make the bed the focal point in this room. Who doesn’t love a cloud like king sized bed to sleep in when your away from home, right?!

I found both the dresser and the side table at the Final Cut which is Anthropologie’s outlet down in Georgia. I was able to grab these pieces at a great discount due to the original legs being damaged. Which was no biggie to me because I had just the place in mind to replace the legs, Pretty Pegs! They have a good selection of furniture legs to upgrade any piece, especially Ikea items!

The only thing that is missing is to add bamboo shades in both of the windows, I think it would add the perfect amount of contrast and texture to complete the room!

I can’t wait to share the rest of the house with you, room by room!
