Natural Look Makeup + Best Lipsticks for Fall

October 24, 2017 / Uncategorized

I’m excited to team with my super talent go-to makeup girl & friend, Frida Maczka! We are showing you a natural look with four of my favorite lipsticks for Fall. Letting Frida take the lead here, below she explains each product she used and how to apply. Be sure to check out her amazing youtube makeup videos and also give her a follow on Insta! I’m so grateful this babe lives right down the street from me, I have so much to learn from this glam girl!
Base/foundation
•Primer: First Aid Beauty Coconut Skin Smoothie Primer to moisturize and give an even base. Then went in with Benefit Porefessional Primer to smooth out pores on the cheeks and nose area.
•Foundation: mixed Too Faced Born this way Foundation and Estée Lauder double wear foundation to create a flawless full coverage base. Too faced born this way foundation is full coverage and the perfect combination between dewy and matte. Estée Lauder is also full coverage but more on the matte side. Mixed them together in order to keep the skin looking healthy, not too oily and not too matte.
•Concealer: Urban Decay naked skin concealer & Tarte Shape Tape Concealer. Urban decay is a medium coverage and very creamy so it’s easy to work with, and tarte shape tape is the fullest coverage concealer but it doesn’t look cakey or crease under the eyes.
•Setting powder: Laura Mercier Translucent Powder. Very finely milled to help set the concealer making it look flawless without looking cakey.
•Bronzer: Benefit Hoola Bronzer. Perfect neutral bronzer to warm up the face without it looking too orange or too ashy. Great to bronze all over or contour and chisel out cheek bones.
•Highlight: Becca Highlighter in the color opal. Perfect universal highlight for all skin types, it’s very pigmented but you can also build it up for any natural or dramatic makeup look.
Eyes
•Eyeshadow Primer: Tarte shape tape concealer and set with Laura mercier translucent powder. I always set all my eyeshadow primers with any powder to help blend eyeshadow out much easier and prevent any patches.
•Eyeshadow palette: Morphe Brushes & Jaclyn Hill palette collaboration. The perfect palette that has so many shades to create endless eyeshadow looks. All of the matte shades are very creamy and easy to work with, all of the shimmer shades are extremely pigmented and gorgeous!
•Eyeliner: Sigma black gel liner. Stays on all day, super pigmented, easy to work with.
•Mascara: Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. Perfect combination between waterproof and not waterproof. It’s hard enough to get off that it won’t run off onto your face on a hot day yet easy to remove with makeup wipes or remover. Also gives the lashes so much length and volume.
•False Lashes: Ardell Demi wispies. These are great quality, super inexpensive and very  easy to find at any drugstore. My favorite lashes to use on smaller eyes that want the dramatic yet natural look.

Sharing my top four lipsticks for Fall
1. Stila- Perla  I realize this color washes me out in photos, but in person its such a pretty neutral color for an everyday look
2. Stila- Jolie Still pretty on the neutral side but has a pretty pink combination, which I’m all for
3. MAC- Girl About Town My go-to color for a night out for the Fall and Winter months
4. Maybelline super stay matte link liquid lipstick- Heroine Everyone needs a wild card and this is such a fun punch of color if your looking for a statement lip
What are some of your favorite lipsticks, I would love to try some new ones! Xoxo

Girl about town is my favorite look on you! It compliments your hair and skin tone so well. I love that one base look can be switched up with a good lip color. I just ordered a ton of Colour Pop liquid lipsticks while they were on sale! Bumble is my go-to color for fall.

Wow you are so beautiful! I love your eyeshadow in these pictures. I am so bad at makeup but I usually try and aim for a natural look like this one.
