Kauai, Hawaii
Also known as the “island of discovery” this is Hawaii’s oldest of the Islands. Words cannot describe the beauty of this island. From the breath taking shores of the Napali Coast line to the depths of the Waimea Canyon, Kauai is definitely a most see wonder of the world. Spending most of the summer on the west coast my husband and I figured it was the best time to see Hawaii especially since the flight from Boston is not one we want to embark on. As I type this I can almost hear the waves crashing and hear the soft sounds of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” playing in the distance. I will forever remember this trip and cherish the beauty that filled my heart. This week was full of sun, sand, tropical drinks, a good book, great food, sunset picnics, surfing, helicopter tour, waterfalls, and much needed rest and relaxation. The photos tell a better story than I can even attempt to describe so I will not delay any longer.
