Sea Island, GA is an exclusive coastal resort, part of a cluster of small islands at the southeastern tip of Georgia called the Golden Isles of Georgia. When we pulled up to this resort I was speechless. The grounds itself were absolutely stunning! As we walked inside I was overwhelmed with the design details. This place is filled with aged wood, elaborate floral arrangements, plush furniture, and walls covered with old historical black and white photos. Stunning to say the least!! Instantly I knew spending the weekend here would be a dream. Coming from Maine the Southern HEAT caught me off guard and I felt like I needed a shower the second I stepped outside. Hellooo bad hair day!! Nothing is better than being outside on a warm summer day soaking up the heat, especially when the cold Boston winter is fast approaching (Brrr..not a fan). A weekend @ Sea Island was another push pin I can add to my travel board. I was grateful for the opportunity to experience such a beautiful island. From room service buttery biscuits and grits to horseback riding and afternoon sailing & sweet Georgia peaches this was a highlight of my summer for sure.
