Pink Coastal Inspired Nursery

I’m excited to share our nursery reveal! This was such a special space for me to design and I couldn’t be more happy with how it turned out. You might remember where we started with this room. We just purchased this 1950’s home which was super dated. Designing our sweet Della’s nursery was one of the highlights of my pregnancy. I knew I wanted to create a space that was an extension of the the rest of our home. Modern coastal feel with a playful, girly twist.

Starting my design process, I instantly knew I wanted to use wallpaper in this space. I searched many late nights(thanks to pregnancy insomnia) for the perfect print. I came across this pink pineapple print from Milton & King and knew it was the one!

My most coveted item in her nursery is the Austin rocker from Society Social. I knew without a doubt, whether we were having a boy or girl, I wanted to use this rocker in our space. Society Social recently opened their first flagship store here in Charlotte, NC so I was excited to check out their beautiful pieces in person.

All of their items are fully customizable, with an array of fabric and color options. This pink gingham had my name written all over it! Not to mention it is just as comfortable as it is beautiful.

The Carmen Crendenza was also another item that was a must have in our nursery space. This piece is covered in the most gorgeous grasscloth material, ours in the natural shade option but you can have your piece custom matched to any Sherwin Williams paint color. How amazing is that!? It was important for me to find quality items for her room that would not only work now, but also grow with her over the years.

We’ve already enjoyed this nursery so much and can’t wait to watch her grow into this space!
