Packing List: Island Getaway

You say vacation, and I say, when are we leaving?! Picking a destination and planning a fun filled itinerary is the easy part when it comes to travel. One of the biggest questions is what the heck do I pack?! Well, luckily for you I’ve had my fair share of traveling adventures and pretty much have this whole packing routine down to a science.

 Swimsuits: Let’s face it, 60% of your day will be spent in your swimsuit laying out poolside or by the beach. It’s important to find a few swimsuits that make you feel amazing, whether its a tiny bikini, a modest one-piece. Another important thing to consider with swimwear is your tan lines, if you are on vacation for a wedding or special event please be mindful of those tan lines! Nothing is worse than a strapless dress with horrible halter-top tan lines! I typically like to switch top styles each day that way I’m getting a nice even tan throughout my trip. Below are a few of my favorite swimsuits that I packed along with me.

Dresses & Coverups–  Besides swimsuits, dresses are high priority on my list. Maxi dresses are usually my silhouette of choice while on vacation. Giving you that extra room & comfort to enjoy that second pina colada or those loaded nachos, I mean hello you are on vacation after all!

Shoes- This is where it’s really easy to go over board, thats why I usually stick to neutral shoes.  An  everyday sandal, wedges, a dresser sandal and of course you need that one pair of fun heels cover all bases
